After a traumatic leave from my dream job - teaching Junior High School Theatre - I returned to teaching Elementary School. It was hard. I missed my kiddos immensely. I missed my dream job, not to mention how traumatic it was to leave. After two years, I decided to accept the fact that I am an elementary school teacher by posting something positive that happened in my classroom every day. It started on Instagram and Facebook. It's now in blog form. Thanks for coming.

These are little Knick-Knacks that kiddos have given me over the past couple of weeks.
See the little orange creepy crawly? A little kindergartner gave it to me today as she whispered in my ear, “I got this as a prize today, but I’m giving it to you because I love you.” A kiddo to give up their prize? Wow. I definitely feel loved.
That picture? That’s a picture that has been on my desk since 2017 of one of my NLJH Theatre 2 classes.
